Black elliptical porcelain torn edge seamed bowl
These are among the most complex pieces that i make, the bowls are thrown then dissected on the bias to create the white and black seams running through them. The bases are then turned of center so the bowl sits on an angel creating movement in both the seam andthe object. The final process of polishing leaves a subtle sheen letting the natural beauty of the porcelain to shine through.
